The best place to get a tenderloin in Des Moines.
It's a real dive from the outside, and I guess the inside is pretty dumpy too. But you can buy half a cow there, so it has to be good. Anyway, best tenderloin ever, so who cares what the place looks like.

ReplyDeleteSteve Karlin from KCCI just did a story last night on the King Tenderloin at Smitty's on the south side. If you like pork tenderloins, you'll have to check it out. It's been there and in the same family for 42 years! The tenderloins were about 3 times larger than the bun. It was almost hilarious looking at it... though if you want to stay -20, you might want to take a buddy to share!
